Loose Tooth

OH MY GOODNESS! Tyler has his very first loose tooth!!!

This morning Tyler was sitting on the couch and he says "Mom, my tooth is wiggly". I thought he didn't really know what he was talking about so I quickly went over there to assess the situation. Sure enough, it is wiggly .... very wiggly at that! My eyes filled up with tears - silly I know, but I was NOT prepared for this! We just went to the dentist at the end of Feb. and they didn't forewarn me (oh, but that could be because I am a bad mom and only had them take back x-rays instead of entire mouth since they are so expensive and insurance only covers it once every 5 years - crazy I know). OK, so maybe I could have been a little more prepared. :(
However, I can't believe my little baby has his first loose tooth! He JUST turned 5 in November. Don't you have to be in Kindergarten and almost 6 before you can get a loose tooth? Tyler does not meet those requirements yet; he is still a baby.

I am going to have start packing him up for college soon :(

It Snowed .... a Week ago!!

We finally got snow here in Atlanta .... well, a week ago that is (I am a little slow!!). And today it is 77 degrees! CRAZY weather!
It actually snowed on Sunday March 1. It started by sleeting at about 10 am then turned over to snow by 11am. About an hour after that, we heard a few sizzle sounds and a few pops, then no power!! That finally came back around 5 pm. The snow didn't begin to slow down until after sunset. So we actually had a full day of snow... a gorgeous day of snow. They were HUGE flakes but I couldn't get the camera to really capture the beauty of them. :(
It didn't get below freezing until after dark so there wasn't too much accumulation. I would say, in my expert snow opinion, that about an inch stuck on the grass and cars and stuff but about 4 inches fell according to the weatherman's expert opinion!!
Tyler was trying to catch the snow flakes on his tongue!
Isabella sure makes a cute snow bunny!

It was a fun day for all of us. Tyler didn't even have to go to school the next day due to the snow!
